THB Bury have revised the 8700 Take & Talk cradle. Bury have decided to offer a specific cradle for the 8700 device and one for the 8707 device. PTP today received its first allocation of the new 8700 cradle and is awaiting arrival of the new 8707 model cradles soon.
THB Bury have developed a new Sys 8 cradle called the 2610. This new cradle is compatible with Nokia 2610, 1110i and 1112 phones. PTP Aust & NZ have this product in stock for immediate delivery.

Testing of the Nokia 6288 phone has passed compatibility testing with the existing Nokia 6280 System 8 Take & Talk cradle.
The DOPOD 838 Pro has been approved for use in the new System 8 JASJAM Take & Talk cradle. Functionality of the DOPOD is the same as that for the JASJAM. This is a Bluetooth enabled cradle that requires initial of the device with the cradle. After that the cradle automatically pairs with the device upon powering up from the vehicle ignition.

04/10/06 THB Bury launches update Car Talk Base Unit
Bury Technologies today released an upgraded version of the ever-popular Car Talk Basae Unit. The new version incorporates a Molex plug connection between the data box and docking station. All existing cradles are fully compatible with the new docking station.
The Unicom product renage has now been expanded even more due to the new Active range of cradles lauched today. There are 4 models in the range covering Nokia, Motorola, Sony Ericsson and Samsung phones. These cradles are fully compatible and interchangeable with the existing Unicom car kits in the market and offer great versatility. For example the Nokia Active cradle covers some 40+ different Nokia phones in the one cradle....amazing!

19/06/06 PTP MOVES INTO NEW DISTRIBUTION CENTRE
As you can imagine the relocation of our Head Office, Victorian Sales Office and Central Warehouse to our brand new Distribution Centre was a monumental task for the PTP team. I am pleased to report all went exceptionally well and we are operational today as planned. A big thank you to the PTP team for their enormous efforts and also to our builder and his team of tradespeople, our IT companies and everyone involved in the project.

PTP is pleased to announce our new distribution centre is nearing completion and we have set the date for our relocation. On Friday 16th June 2006 we will begin the process of relocating our administration and warehouse facilities to the new facility. The transition period will only effect our operations for the one day only. From Monday 19th June we expect all our operations to be up and running at full speed.

We are having enormous response to our participation at CeBit 2006. This year is our 3rd year at CeBit and is by far our largest stand measuring some 50 square metres. Cebit 2006 was chosen as the official launch of our Bury Technologies Navigation solutions.....branded NAVIFLASH. Naviflash have a wide range of models and options which will provide customers with the ability to match the solution to their budget. Another new product lauched at CeBit 2006 is a new range of Scala headsets. Of particular interest has been the Motorcycle unit which enables bikers to enjoy calls with voice activation to receive/end calls without their hands ever leaving the handle bars. We will be preparing a web page dedicated to the CeBit exhibition which will include pictures and information about the products displayed.

We have just announced Blackberry 8700 compatibility with the BT Freedom range. Available also is a charging cable which can be ordered optionally when purchasing the BT Freedom to suit the 8700 device.
We now have the New Motorola L7/L6/L2 car kits available in the System 8 range. This cradle uses BT Technology to interface between the phone and the car kit cradle.
We also have released a charging cable to suit these phones which can be optionally ordered with the BT Freedom range.
With the range of Nokia phones growing all the time, we now have 2 more System 8 Nokia cradles....to suit the 6030 and 6280 mobile phones.

Point to Point Technology have conducted exhaustive performance testing with the THB Bury System 8 Treo 650 kits and we have not been satisfied with the performance levels exhibited by this product due to incompatability with the Australian software version. Unfortunately THB have advised that they unable to adjust the performance any further and accordingly we have decided not to release this model to the Australia market.
Obviously we are disappointed at the time it has taken getting the Treo 650 kit to this stage and to have it not perform to our expectations was very unexpected.
To address the impact this may have on our valued customers we have tested the Treo 650 device in our BT Freedom product and have been most satisfied with the performance levels. The only shortcoming was that there is not a charging cable available for the Treo device presently. However, THB have agreed to develop a charging cable for this device and we are expecting these will arrive approx. end of March. We realize this impacts customers again, however, customers are able to migrate to the BT Freedom today and enjoy hands free calls; then when the charging cable arrives it can be fitted themselves without the need for any ‘installation or setup' changes….ie just plug it into the cradle and their Treo device – instant

After many delays the JAM/Mini System 8 Car Kit is on its way. The initial allocation will see most customers receiving their backorders next week. The perfomance of this unit is exceptional, due in part to the software interface developed by the phone manufacturer to allow the JAM & XDA Mini to enable radio mute during incoming ringtone stage, audible ringtone and phone/msg alerts which are audible through the car kit speaker. If you have navigation software loaded on your device the voice commands can now be heard through your car kit speakers.
We now have a software interface patch for your PDA2K or XDAIIs which will enable radio mute during incoming ringtone stage, your incoming ringtones, keypad tones & alerts are all audible through the car kit speaker too. If you have navigation software loaded on your device the voice commands can now be heard through your car kit speakers (with Bluetooth GPS antenna only). The patch can be downloaded from our web site at no charge....so what are you waiting for?
THB have upgraded the 6230 cradle to work with the latest Nokia 6230i phone. You can even use PTT (push to talk) whilst your phone is in the cradle and the audio will emit from the car kit speaker (via audio speakers or external speaker depending on your specific installation)

THB Bluetooth Adapter - Update
The updated System 8 Bluetooth Adapter has arrived. This unit can be programmed to operate in either handsfree or headset mode. Up to 4 different phones/devices can be paired and held in the memory. DSP functionality can be swithed on or off depending on the requirements of the phone/device/carrier.

iMate JAM/xda MINI Delays
Release of the new iMate JAM/xda Mini cradle has been delayed. THB are working with the phone/device manufacturer to resolve some operational issues. A revised date for the release has not become available as yet and as soon as it does we will update all customers with backorders for this model and post details of the new date on this site.
Treo 650 is coming soon. Subject to approval by Palm One, this cradle should be available by mid August.

BLACKBERRY 7100G CRADLE COMING
The new Blackberry 7100g device has been released in Australia recently. This model is marginally wider than the 7100v device already available in the Australian market. Subsequently the System 8 Take & Talk cradle currently available for the 7100v does not suit the new model. THB will release a 7100g version cradle by mid May to accomodate the new model device.
